1) I went horseback riding for the first time on Friday. My mom took me so that I could "check it off my bucket list". I am so so happy I went but let me tell you- I was a NERVOUS wreck the entire hour. I kept thinking about falling off the horse. I kept thinking about my girls. Of course everything turned out just fine! The ride was nice and slow (haha!) and the scenery was gorgeous! My mama and I had a fabulous experience together.
2) After the horseback riding we went to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. We LOVE that place. And even with their ginormous menu we ALWAYS get the same two things. We always pick up the menus as if we are going to change it up and we never do haha!
3) I have come to the conclusion that I am addicted to chocolate. Chocolate and I need some time apart. I keep trying to limit our time together but some how we always end up in the same room with one another. We definitely have a love hate relationship!
4) Jordyn had her first ear ache on Friday and it was so sad. She was in so much pain and I felt completely helpless. Of course on our way to the doctor she kept telling me that she was "all better" but we still went! And in the doctor's office she was my happy, happy girl! She was laughing and playing with me. Typical Jordyn! I went and got her medicine and the second she swallowed it (John was standing there with a Popsicle in hand!) she yelled, "Yay! I am not sick anymore!" I just started laughing hysterically!
5) John and I attended his 10 year reunion this Saturday evening. It was so great to see some old friends. Although, we have kept in touch with A LOT of John's classmates. So in some ways it was like any other Saturday night. But the gals that organized it did a fantastic job!
6) I started my Christmas shopping on Friday by buying Jordyn an outfit. I know, I know- it isn't even October. But I want to get a head start. And on Friday night, while laying in bed WIDE awake, I made a list (I LOVE memo pad on my phone!) of all the people we buy gifts for. I also started a list of gifts I know I want to get the girls. You can never be too prepared!
7) Today was a rough day with Jordyn. Remember that I have mentioned before that a day's success is based on time outs given? Well let's just say that I have lost count of how many time outs took place today. Ugh! Good thing that tomorrow is another day!
