1) I have noticed that Jordyn is really starting to have an imagination these days- which I love. The other day she "went to school". She brought with her all of the important necesities- purse, nail polish, necklace and her phone. She "NEEDED" her phone. She realized that when she "got to school" it was "closed but would open in two minutes." (FYI- everything happens "in two minutes" around our house.)
2) I am so happy to have gotten almost caught up on the girls' scrapbooks this past week. They are a tad time consuming and a little overwhelming but in the end I LOVE having them. I just hope I can keep up with them as time goes on.
3) John and I are going to see Rascal Flatts in a little less than two weeks and I am so so excited! I can not wait! Should make for a great night!
4) I have decided that I may be watching too much Law and Order: SVU during my night sessions with Jillian. Now every time I am out running I freak out when I turn a corner and wonder if the people I pass are crazy criminals. I know this is nuts and I told John the other day what I was thinking and his response, "Stop watching it then." He is probably right but I just LOVE that show and it really helps me when we are up!
5) John and I took the girls to San Luis Obispo yesterday and we had a great time. The girls did fantastic in the car- thank God. We pretty much spent out entire time there eating (who can complain about that) and went shopping for a while down town. We also drove through the campus and showed Jordyn where Daddy went to school. It was nice to get away, even if it was just for a day!
6) I have talked before about how much laundry is done in the Scherpinski home. Well I would just like to say that I am so thankful that Jordyn LOVES helping me with laundry. She "folds" the clothes with me and actually puts her own clothes away. She will get upset if I do this with out her! Thank goodness for my little helper!
7) Before having kids it would take me FOREVER to fall asleep at night. I get this fantastic trait from my mom. Well now (especially after Jillian was been born) I pretty much fall asleep the second my head hits the pillow. I sure love my bed- just wish I spent more time sleeping in it haha
