These days John and I are trying to get Jordyn to understand that she is our "big girl" and Jillian is "our baby". When she whines and cries we tell her "big girls" don't cry, only babies. (Obviously if she is actually hurt this isn't the case.)
Well.........she is taking this new idea VERY seriously. Now, after every time we ask her to not do something she asks us, "Babies only?"
Some examples-
Mommy- Jordyn, please do not throw your food on the ground.
Jordyn- Babies only?
Mommy- Jordyn, please do not jump on the bed.
Jordyn- Babies only?
Mommy- Jordyn, please do not touch my computer.
Jordyn- Babies only?
Can you see where I am going with this?
She has figured out that she doesn't want to be a baby, which is great, but at the same time she now thinks babies are allowed to do EVERYTHING! We will get there............
