Since the day we brought Jillian home from the hospital we have beeing trying to teach Jordyn that, "Jillian is fragile." "Her body is little." "You need to be gentle."
I must admit that will all of our efforts she has yet to understand this.
She insists that she LOVES her sister (which she does) and therefore that is why she is always smothering her and tackling her to the ground. The majority of the time, Jillian just takes it and laughs. She is Jordyn's biggest fan and finds her more than amusing.
Well, last night Jordyn and I will lying in my bed watching TV before she went to sleep for the night and I was hugging her.
She turns to me and says, "Mama, that hurts. I know you love me but my body is tiny and you need to be careful."
No joke.
I have always known she understood what I was saying. Now if she would only listen haha.
