So we have a problem in our house, as I am sure most people do who have toddlers, with Jordyn YELLING every time she needs our attention. Whether it be while we are on the phone, talking to other adults or while she is upstairs, she will just start yelling to get our attention.
I have been telling her for some time now that she can not yell when Mommy is on the phone. If she needs to talk to me she needs to say, "Excuse me mama." Of course, no such luck- until yesterday!
I was on the phone with John and I heard her say, "Excuse me mama. I need some help."
I was shocked and so happy!
Well now.........she won't stop saying it.
"Excuse me mama, I need milk."
"Excuse me mama, I need more cee-cees (cereal)."
"Excuse me mama, I am going to the bathroom- be right back."
All while I am sitting right there- no phone in hand. Not busy.
But hey, I will take it!!
