Catching Up..........

The girls are at Nana's house today which gives Mama some time to catch up not only on my blog but more importantly here at home.

So what has the Scherpinski family been up to? A lot.

I feel like this last month has been CRAZY! Some days are calm but most days are go, go, go. A typical days starts about 5:30 am and ends about 8:30 pm. During those 15 hours or so the girls and I are on the go. I always feel like Monday-Friday is a blur come Friday night. I feel like I haven't sat down and haven't seen John for 5 days straight. Now obviously that isn't true but at times it feels like it is.

John and I are busy people. Always have been and probably always will be. We enjoy times with our families and our friends and are therefore are always scheduling one thing after the other. Sure, life would be a little more calm if we remained at home every weekend but then what would be the fun in that. Our relationships with others are what shape us to be the people we are and so it is all worth the craziness.

What else?

I am currently in the process of finding a new job. Do I want to work? Yes and no. But in the end, I have to and so I will.

Working means having one little one in full time daycare and the other in part time preschool and part time daycare. So with that, comes the expense of both. Therefore, while looking for a job I need to find one that makes sense financially. Why work if I am only working to pay for daycare and preschool? Well, I have found that there are jobs out there that will make it worth it but on top of the financial aspect comes the logistic aspect. I need to find a job that works with our schedule. I feel like the whole process so far has been one giant puzzle. Dropping off one here and the other one there and getting to work on time. Will it work? I sure hope so. I am staying positive and keeping a positive outlook on the whole thing. I will keep you all posted.........

Thanksgiving is Thursday and I am so excited. I can not wait to spend some time with family. The weekends that follow are filled with so many gatherings with friends and family. Great times ahead!

I hope you all enjoy your Monday! I am off to get some scrapbooking done and to organize parts of this house that haven't been touched in Lord knows how long!
