Pressing "Pause"

It seems as though time has been flying by faster these past weeks than normal. If there were a pause button on life I would be pressing it daily.

Weeks and the weekends that follow them are just passing before I know it. By the time Monday comes around I have forgotten the events that have just taken place. Thank goodness for my calendar, I am able to flip back and remember the things that have slipped my mind.

I am also thankful for my camera, at least when I remember to bring it along. Speaking of my camera.....I left it at my parent's house yesterday so recent photos will have to wait but I will upload them shortly. I promise. :)

Jillian will be 9 months tomorrow. I can't believe it! Updates on her progress Wednesday!

Jordyn seems to be becoming more of a young girl and less of a toddler with each passing day. She makes me laugh, smile and cry tears of joy more than I can keep track of. We have so much fun and I am enjoying our times together. She is my little lady.

The stories that come out of her mouth are good enough for TV. If I had a camera crew filming our daily lives we could have our own hit sitcom.

Tonight when I served chicken for dinner Jillian was so excited clapping her hands and Jordyn looks at me and says, "Again?!?!"

The other day she told my mom and I all about the story of Jesus and how he was on the cross, hands covered in blood and how he "drank lots of wine for our sins". Emphasis on the word "LOTS".  My mom and I were at a loss for words.

I am loving the relationship that Jordyn and Jillian are forming. They are spending more and more time together playing, and while Jordyn does love to have her own time she is also pretty good at sharing with her sister. She is a great big sister and Jillian LOVES her. Jordyn can always seem to make her laugh.

Life is sure exciting in the Scherpinski family. I am loving my new job, my times with the girls and all the great events taking place.

Until next time......
